UNTHINKABLE; Carlisle's Final Word.

“There's only victory and defeat. The winner gets to take the moral high-ground, because they get to write the history books. The loser... just loses. The only miscalculation in your plan... was me.”

Despite its straight-to-DVD credentials, Unthinkable is a sharp and thought provoking film that remains criminally overlooked. Generally, when I hear the term ‘thought provoking’ I usually take that to mean ‘over-acted and dull’, but this genuinely left me thoughtful, and any film that causes you take a long hard look at yourself is alright in my book. Good acting all-round, especially from Samuel L Jackson, understated yet sinister as the mysterious H, and Carrie Ann Moss as a hard-edged but big-hearted government agent.
