Welcome to the blog.

At the urging of friends (who are probably secretly fed-up of having to read over my Facebook rants) I've decided to give this Blogging lark a go.

So what makes this different to any of the thousand other blogs out there? Probably nothing. I’m fairly certain the web is filled with nerds, geeks and film buffs pouring their thoughts into cyber space. I guess what I hope to offer is an entertaining, droll, sharp, and sometimes controversial view on the topics that most interest me; films, comics, photography and art (but mostly film).

I don’t expect that you'll agree with everything I say (that would be stupid and unrealistic), but if you want to 'return fire' and have your say then keep it civil; present a sensible counter-argument and don’t get personal. Debate is healthy, ‘Trolling’ is not- and remember: "it’s only a movie".

So, basically I’ll be addressing a range of topics; some serious, some less so. Hopefully this sounds appealing? Thanks for reading either way, and I hope you come back soon.
